Abstract

This critical note is about Johan Michel's book, Homo interpretans, Paris, Hermann, 2017. While addressing the importance and interest of Michel's book, this critical note also raises questions about some of the issues that are at stake from the point of view of hermeneutics and some of the debates (between Ricoeur - Gadamer, Gadamer - Habermas,  pragmatism, etc.) that are still ongoing.
