$70,000 grant for Musiques: Recherches interdisciplinaires

Professor Sophie Stévance, Director of the Observatoire interdisciplinaire de création et de recherche en musique (OICRM-ULaval), and Director and Editor-in-Chief of the journal Musiques: Recherches interdisciplinaires, has received a grant from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) through the Aid for Scholarly Journals Program. This program aims, among other things, to promote best practices in open access scholarly publishing and to facilitate the dissemination, discoverability, and mobilization of original research findings in the humanities and social sciences.

This funding will support the journal's editorial activities and enable it to pursue its mission of disseminating research on the study of music from an interdisciplinary perspective. The grant will also support the work of the editorial team, which contributes to the journal's development and its visibility within the scientific community.
