Ces dernières années, l'utilisation de méthodes multimodales dans la recherche anthropologique a fait l'objet d'un appel enthousiaste, largement inspiré par la démocratisation des technologies de production des médias. Cet enthousiasme initial pour les méthodes multimodales a été suivi de près par une ambivalence lorsque les outils médiatiques numériques ne parviennent pas à créer le changement social et politique espéré. Cette entrée traite des potentiels et des limites des méthodes multimodales en anthropologie, en se concentrant en particulier sur les contributions des anthropologues féministes.
