La consilience propose un cadre épistémologique commun à l’ensemble des sciences qui s’appliquent à Homo Sapiens : « naturelles », « sociales » ou « humaines ». Fondée sur la récusation du dualisme nature/culture, elle considère la culture comme une aptitude naturelle dont notre espèce est doté à un niveau inégalé.
