About the Journal

History
Era Novum is an interdisciplinary academic journal affiliated with the local chapter of World University Service of Canada (WUSC) at Laval University in Quebec City, Canada. The journal is bilingual (French and English) and is named after the Latin phrase "era novum," meaning "new era." In 2020, a small group of passionate WUSC-Laval students concerned with social and environmental issues joined forces with the aim of raising awareness and sharing innovative ideas. This collaboration resulted in the first volume of Era Novum, which was published in 2021. Since then, we have continued to promote and highlight the research and innovative ideas of students and young researchers.
