La situation agricole de la Polynésie française: un double contexte particulier

Abstract

The current agricultural situation in French Polynesia results from a particular double context. On the one hand, the establishment of the Pacific Experimentation Center has upset the socio-economic structures of French Polynesia. On the other hand, the latter are greatly affected by the effects of global warming. It is therefore this double vulnerability that today affects local agriculture in French Polynesia. This therefore leaves room for many forms of international and local environmental assistance.
