Often associated with international mobility, cosmopolitanism is not an essential characteristic in achieving global citizenship. This notion is based on a vast field of study that allows for the understanding of cultural and contemporary phenomena, notably through the different types of cosmopolitanism and the multiple variations it has taken on over time.
