Which of the individual or the society comes first? The question raised by sociologists must be taken up again from an anthropological point of view, by differential comparison with the europocentric perspective that associates the individual to the concepts of subject, of “me” and of person. In its complex identity, the individual is the result of a necessary process of social and cultural creation of the human, in an interactive relation with others and with a given environment.
