Interculturalism

Interculturalism refers to the contact between players of different origins. Although anthropology has had a considerable influence on intercultural communication research, it has, however, kept away from this discipline. Intercultural thinking has no real disciplinary focus and is subject to various approaches, concepts and purposes. Three themes, however, recur throughout the work on intercultural dynamics: bidirectionality, prejudices and competences.
