In anthropology, migration means the physical movement of a human being. It can take many forms (transnational, internal, pendular migration…) and be of different durations. The anthropology of migration is a field that reveals inequalities and can show the political, cultural and social situation of a region or a people. In the case of transnational migrations, these can give rise to new phenomena within the host countries (nationalism, xenophobia, etc.).
