The notion of the Anthropocene urban is constituted at the confluence of two major transformations of the contemporary worlds by emphasizing the relations between the environmental crisis and the urban issues of the 21st century. The Anthropocene urban is therefore a framework for understanding the link between the accelerated urbanization of the planet and the climate crisis, which calls into question the habitability of the earth.
