Global health and its definition are at the centre of multiple debates within the context of globalization. They are still affected by a lack of conceptual clarity. This entry offers a critical analysis of the term “global health.” After having described the suggested definitions, the issues of power at the centre of global health’s daily operations that new generations (if allowed) will necessarily be confronted with will be discussed.
