Le site du dernier dieu. Le 'Dasein', entre l'humain et le divin
Abstract
There is no work that shows Heidegger's confrontation with our western theological tradition as his private writings of the 1930s and 1940s offers us. In the context of a History of Being and his Ereignis project, the philosopher ventures to think anew the essence of the divine. From an in-depth reading, not only of the Contributions to Philosophy (1936-38) but also the rest of the recently published writings and Black Notebooks, we attempt in this paper to determine the scope and limits of his thinking of the last god and of its relationship to human being. We will try to show how, despite his desire to keep distance in order to think (from) Being, Heidegger must face classical metaphysical problems – without necessarily solving them.
