The notion of Relation is at the centre of Edouard Glissant’s poetic, philosophical, and anthropological work. Faced with the hegemony of an occidental conception of the world, he does not present a counter-hegemony. He rather executes a true epistemological rupture to apprehend a new configuration of the world which is, immediately and continuously, focused on diversity and exchange.
