Biographie de l'auteur-e

  • Sophie Stévance, Université Laval

    Titulaire de la Chaire de recherche du Canada en recherche-création en musique, Sophie Stévance est musicologue, Professeur Titulaire à la Faculté de musique de l'Université Laval. Directrice du Laboratoire de recherche-création en musique et multimédia (LARCEM) et directrice de l’Observatoire interdisciplinaire de création et de recherche en musique de l’Université Laval (OICRM-ULaval) depuis 2017, elle s’intéresse à la recherche-création comme méthode de recherche dans le cadre de projets réunissant différents collaborants, à la représentation des femmes dans l’histoire de la musique dans une perspective historiographique, ou encore aux relations entre la musique et le sport et la culture des médias sociaux. Artiste lyrique, altiste et sportive de haut niveau, elle agit également à titre de chercheure-créatrice au sein de nombreux projets, notamment Hits for HIIT.
